Welcome to NEST Academy, a homeschool hybrid learning pod for children aged 5 -14. Our primary goal is to provide an educational experience that empowers learners to focus on their passions, set their own goals, and take charge of their learning pace.
At NEST Academy we equip children with the tools they need to become independent learners who can take care of their own learning environment.

How is NEST Academy different from traditional school?

At NEST there is no traditional classroom, instead we offer an environment where the children can choose to work where they like, at their own pace, moving around when they feel the need. We view the whole world as our classroom and regularly take field trips to explore the surrounding area and gain real life experiences.

At NEST there are no tests or homework. Instead the children are able to spend more time outside school on their hobbies and passions.

At NEST we have small groups which enable the children to be seen and enable the guide to provide individualised help for each child, depending on their level.

At NEST we equip children with real life skills, including creating budgets, communication and presentation skills as well as hands-on skills such as cooking and gardening.

At NEST children are in control of their own learning. There is no set, fixed curriclum that we are forced to adhere to; instead, through Project Based Learning, the children are able to focus on projects that excite and inspire them.
